Our Mission

I.C.A.R.E. (Into Canine Adoption, Rehabilitation, and Education) Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-breed, no-kill organization committed to saving the lives of dogs in need. We rescue dogs at risk of euthanasia in shelters, as well as those who have been abandoned, abused, or surrendered due to financial or personal hardships. Our mission is to reduce the number of dogs lost each day by providing rescue, rehabilitation, and placement into safe, loving foster homes until they are adopted into their forever families.

Education is also central to our mission. We strive to raise awareness about rescue practices, responsible pet ownership, and breed-specific needs in order to create a more compassionate community for dogs. I.C.A.R.E. is run entirely by volunteers and sustained by the generosity of fosters, donors, and supporters. We are deeply grateful for this dedication, which makes our life-saving work possible.
